Horror in cinemas

It was quite interesting to research this topic as the smaller the budget was the better was the film one which says that simple is better than complexed, I personally only knew the film IT, i didn't know or ever heard of any of the other films but they are a bit older while IT is a very recent film. I think IT was on top because there wasn't really many actual horror or scary films coming out in this decade so people were more interested and with quite a famous cast as well.
