The making of The Women In Black scene

Behind the scenes of the making of our PLASTiCINE opening SEQUENCE

In our media lessons we've been looking at camera angles and different types of shots, we've been looking at how they can be used in different situations or the same situations but have a different impact. We've learnt that using a high angle shot will make the object it is looking down at look vulnerable and weak, then using a low angle shot will make the object looking down on us look powerful while the audience feels like they are in a vulnerable position. We decided to make the opening scene of the Women In Black in plasticine. When we were taking the shots it made us see why different shot types and angles are so effective in the making of a movie.
